Making Custom Wheel Purchases Easy – Why We Ask for Pictures of Your Car and Wheels

Acquiring beautiful and durable custom wheel finishes from Wheel Craft is a surefire way to turn heads and Arrive in Style wherever the road takes you. What’s more, we’ve made it simple to order the finish of your choice—be it the bold and beautiful gleam of Black PVD Chrome, Midnight PVD Chrome and Bright PVD Chrome, or the sultry sophistication of Matte PVD Chrome.

Simple indeed. Yet, there is one task in the ordering process we assign to every prospective customer: providing a picture of the vehicle’s current wheels, and a side or diagonal picture of the vehicle itself. Why do we need these pictures? Simply put, they help us determine the specific wheels that are currently on your vehicle. That may seem obvious, but variations exist from brand to brand, and even within individual models. There is no room for error where custom wheels are concerned—and your pictures go a long way toward eliminating mistakes.

Still need proof? Consider: A Lexus RX350 – a singular model within the Lexus family – utilizes six different wheels. It’s the same model, but in terms of its wheels, one size definitely does not fit all.

To make an airtight determination of your wheel type, we need the photos, along with the brand, model and production year. We’ll take it from there.

Where to send your photos, you may ask? Easy-peasy…just upload digital images as part of your quote request on our website—or if you prefer, email them directly to Ed Hollinshead, company President.

We hope this blog helps explain the importance of taking photos as part of our custom wheel finish acquisition process.
